the lightness of background light is not auto
i just noticed that the the lightness of backgroud light is not auto, natural light is auto. i need to adjust the lightness maually everytime. is it correct?

Yes. Though don’t feel like you’re missing out, the Aura One has the auto adjust for the normal light. It left a bit to be desired and I suspect most people turned it off

Even the Kindle Voyage's auto light feature should be turned off.

I disagree with this. I use the auto light feature on both my Voyage and Oasis and it works quite well. I never manually adjust the light on either.

For me, Kobo's auto light feature has never worked as well and I ended up turning it off on my Aura One. Not a big deal as Kobo makes it easy to adjust the light level via swiping the edge of the screen.

I do have hands on experience with the PW3 and I've seen the PW4 & Voyage in shops. Plus I've read a lot about the Voyage from owners.

So if you disagree with what I said, then you disagree with a lot of owners.

I disagree with how seeing a voyage in a shop makes you an expert on its auto brightness feature. Did you spend hours in the shop observing it, as the ambient brightness varied?


If you feel the need to tell us what some other voyage owners have written about a feature, then make it clear that's what you are doing.
