Any one else using his/her ereader for non book reading?

I am just wondering if there are more people who are using their ereader for different purposes.
I am using it as a flight computer.
Maybe it would be fun to exchange ideas and experiences here :-)

I've tinkered with things line that, but not for a while. (I soft bricked my mini but managed to recover it)
I'm kinda interested in using it as a map book. With our without GPS. It's probably simple to make an old school street map book out of osm images, though I'm not sure if it's possible to have a "go up" and "go down" button that takes you to the required page. I should look into it.
Even better would be GPS b of course but that would have to be an actual app most likely and that's beyond me haha.
