Kindle Paperwhite not recognized by Calibre in linux
My Kindle Paperwhite doesn't show up in Calibre, but it does show up as a mounted drive in Linux. How do I get it to also show up in Calibre? A little weird that it doesn't, especially since I believe this program was was originally coded because there weren't any options for an ereader in Linux. Seems like the functionality would already be built in, right?

Support for the 10th gen paperwhite wasn't added until 3.34.
Good luck. https://calibre-ebook.com/download_linux |

The only advantage I've seen to using the distro version of a third party application is that they do some testing before adding the package to their respository. Given the responsiveness of Kovid Goyal to problems, I don't think that will be an issue for many calibre users. Now the packaging of Python 3 in many distros dragging Linux users into the future of calibre, that's a different issue.
