Kobo shop slow
Does Kobo have technical problems? The shop is incredibly slow tonight (on my desktop computer, from Europe). It's taking forever and ever just to buy a single book, download, &c.

And when I say "forever" I mean like, really... forever. It just doesn't download. (And that's only the 1 Kb link file for the Adobe software to *actually* download the book.) Weird shit.

Usually books are patient. It's not tv. But why does this always happen when you're *quickly* buying something because you *quickly* want to look something up.

It's never been particularly snappy on my end from Europe, FWIW.

I suspect the COVID-19 shenanigans are putting a bit of a strain on some network infrastructures... .

EDIT: Browsing the shop certainly seems worse than usual, for sure.
