Another person's impressions of the 700

I've had it since Friday (6 days ago).

It's good. Fast, PDF display is great, search is good, fast flip is excellent, size, ergonomics, etc... all good, light is fantastic.

Glare is bad. You've always got to find the "sweet spot".

If all you do is read fiction, the 700 has nothing you want and the 505 is your guy. If you read tech docs, search, flip a lot, read a bunch of books at once, and correlate them, the 505 will have you reaching for your pulp books faster than a monkey jumps on a banana... 700 is better.

Summary: 700 = good. People claiming that it's "unreadable" and that the screen is "terrible", well... that's simply ridiculous. 'nuff said there.

Cheers,
EP
