Can't install Calibre-64bit-4.9.1 update

I can't seem to install this update. I'm using Windows 10 on a laptop that was upgraded from Windows 7. I've had no trouble with Calibre until now.

I've downloaded the update from 2 different sites (just in case), and when I run it, I get a dialogue box with the options to Change or Repair or Remove Calibre. I've tried both Change and Repair with various combinations of the drop-down options, but when I re-open Calibre, it still tells me there's an update available.

There's no option to just Install. What should I try now?

It's a Windows Trusted Installer hiccup.

Uninstall from Control Panel, you won't lose libraries or Plugins, Preference settings etc.

Then run the Install.

Change/repair indicates the downloaded version MATCHES what is already there. What does the filename say? What does the statusline on calibre say?

Status line says calibre 4.8 [64-bit] and on the right is Update found 4.9.1 again/still.

Do you mean to uninstall the entire Calibre program? I see that in the Control Panel, it shows that Calibre is 4.9.1.

Did you accidentally install a 32-bit version?

I fixed it! What I mean is, I remembered that the Calibre "updates" are huge and probably reinstall the whole program, which meant my shortcut might be leading to an old installation.

Yes, it was, so when I open Calibre now from the list of programs, I've got 4.9.1. Thanks for sending me to the Control Panel which triggered what's left of my memory.
