since 4.9 problem with edit metadata
since update to 4.9 i have a problem with metadata editing

single editing no problem

marking more than one book and select single editing (shortcut "E") will do the same as "all at the same time"

feature or bug?

(sorry, if i used the wrong phrases, but i use calibre in german)

I noticed this new little twist and was hoping that I hadn't done anything wrong. Mr. Goyal, your work is much appreciated.

That being said, if it was to have been fixed in the last build update (4.9.1), I am still experiencing this minor issue of being unable to individually edit any number of books where more than one is selected.
