It's also a good opportunity to meet authors and promote ebooks especially if you're a volunteer!

well i could hardly imagine a more appropriate venue.

there's a precedent as well : the Edinburgh meetup.

you might want to move this thread to the lounge though and put a meetup prefixe on it.

I went to the Library of Congress Book Fair on the Mall and was delighted to have the opportunity to meet Paul Theroux and have my picture taken chatting with him.
