Unhappy Bricked Kobo Touch N905B

Hello mates,

I have a Kobo Touch N905B e-reader from 2012 or 2013 with a 4 GB memory. When I was trying to update it in 2017 it shut off and never turned on again. After a little tinkering I let it go. This week I wanted to have a go at trying to revive it. However, no matter what I did, It wouldn't boot. I got a black blank screen. I tried soft reset, hard reset. When these didn't work. I kind of figured that its image might have become corrupted. I flashed N905B image to original micro sd card via Win32DiskImager (thanks to @davidfor from the forum). Then, I put the micro sd car back in the device and now I get a blinking green light and black blank screen.

Do you guys have any idea about how I can repair my device. Also the battery probably must have been drained during idle years. Could this be the reason for not booting up even after I flashed the image?

Thank you for your help.
