I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have been trying to find an answer in the documentation without success.
When I click Edit Metadata for a single book, the form comes up. At some point in time, I changed it to show the standard information and my added columns on one page. I have added a column and need to put it into the edit metadata form. Can someone point me in the right direction to do this? ![]() |

OK. I've got that. I see that is what I did a while ago to have everything on one form. My problem is getting the new column to appear on the form. I don't need help with editing metadata, only editing the input form.

(this allows you to push the ones you use the most UP) But I am confused: All columns should show on that form. You do realize there is a scroll bar in that column?? |

@madelonw - The other solution is to edit the metadata in the Book list using F2 and Tab.
If you install the View Manager plugin you can create one or more Views that are optimal for your specific metadata editing needs. BR |

I did realize and use the scroll bar (somewhat infrequently). Thanks for this reminder as it showed me what I have been missing all along. Apparently, the field is there but is a notes type field which was definitely not my intention. Again, this suggestion made me actually look at the whole form.
