Libra H2O case

Hello,

I've been using my Libra H2O without a case since I received it a month ago. But I'll be doing some traveling for the holidays and don't want to damage it.

Is anyone using the Kobo case, and if so is it worth $40 since there are no 3rd party cases available.

Amazon UK and ebay have a selection of cases (fairly recent listings)

There is no Irish Market place. Amazon send Irish customers to .co.uk
EVEN if you are logged in on .com, .de (which does English) or .co.uk, the search returns items that do not ship to Ireland.
Ireland uses Euro, UK uses GBP, £ Stirling. Shortly there will be customs.

Amazon is treating Irish customers badly. Also Irish book sales are lumped into UK sales.
Only very recently they changed that you could use USA Kindle store for ebooks (may not apply again), normally if you have an Irish address the eBooks can only be purchased at .co.uk
Also while Courier and postal charges from UK to Ireland are similar to Germany to Ireland, the "free" shipping on larger orders is UK site only.
They DO offer Euro at the checkout, but it's their own hedged exchange rate to Sterling. Also sometimes you only find the item doesn't ship at the last stage of checkout.

Thanks everyone. I haven't searched Amazon in a while and when I did in the past there were no cases available.

I ended up getting the "other" 3rd party case that was available. When I get it I'll post my thoughts about it.

ebay now has them priced around 12USD. What I'm waiting for are vinyl skins.

Contact DecalGirl via facebook, ask them if they could please pass along a request to the team that you want skins for the Kobo Libra, tell them it's a smaller version of the Forma, and provide a link to the Libra product page.

They're usually good about responding, though obviously only in business hours, and I've had nothing but success with them every time I've asked for them to support a new Kobo model. Granted I've only asked twice, for the KA1 and the Forma, but still 100%

Hi MGlitch, already did last mid Oct, though I'm planning to just go the DIY route. I'll just buy a printable vinyl sticker paper (plus photo top to make it splashproof).

First the pros:
It works just as advertised. The magnets aren't too strong but they hold the cover well in both the closed position and the folded position. I ended up ordering one of the origami cases that are being sold on Aliexpress by several vendors, taking advantage of the Black Friday sales. There are very few third-party covers being sold on Amazon or other websites right now, and the pictures and reviews posted seem very positive, so I decided to take the plunge. Here is a link. I'm doing fine with the sleeve, to be honest, but I used to have an original stand case for my Glo HD and I'm missing the ability to just prop the device up and read while I'm doing other stuff (eating etc.). I'll probably alternate them.

Replying to add that I finally got the cover (color Nightfall). I usually don't buy third-party covers because the black plastic case they're built on (the one they all share basically) feels cheap and thick to me; this one is actually pretty thin and has a decent finish (smooth, no sharp things sticking out that might scratch the device), the print on the cover is also very good and actually covers all of the back of the device instead of having that thick black border. The cover feels solid and the magnets are strong and hold the reader up very well; the cover even sticks to the back of the device, so it doesn't flap around when you're holding it. Recommended if you don't want to pay for the original Sleepcover.

I bought the forefront origami hard shell case, from Amazon Arrived yesterday. Auto sleep and wake, weight only 90 grams and claims good impact protection if dropped. What's not to like . £12+ UK

It also goes on and off very easily so I could read without a case at home and put it on only for travel, if I choose to
