How's the light gradiant on the Nova Pro ?
I'm interested in a 7.8" e-reader and the Nova Pro sounds good, i have only one concern and that is how's the light gradiant on this devices?
I had the Kobo Aura One and the light was very uneven (yellow at the top, grey at the bottom) and it got worse the warmer the light got, and as an international user it was a nightmare to return.. I read that the Oasis light is fairly even and now the new one also got the warm light feature but it's only 7" and so it is a bit too small so i'm really on the fence here :/ |

I have the Nova, but not the Pro version. The only difference between the two is that the Pro version has stylus capability.
The light on my Nova is quite even. It's as even as the Oasis I had a while ago, and more even than any Onyx or Boyue device I have had. I also have a Likebook Mars. It's a 7.8 inch device as well. Its light is fairly even, except that I can see some brighter spots near the edges that I do not see on my Nova. |

I have both a Note Pro and a Nova Pro and the light on both of them is very even whether using the warm or cold light or a combination of the two and regardless of how bright the light is turned up or down. Am very happy with the light on each device.

I've had the Nova Pro for a month or so now - and LOVE it. Re the light gradients, if you've had a reader before, they're probably a little different...but overall a nice, mostly evenly distributed color and light level.
1. the variation of levels of light aren't quite as gradual in in-/decrease as I'd like (compared to my old Kindle Paperwhite), but with the option of modifying the warm/cool light colors, or even without, there are enough options to make it all work great. 2. In bright light, the light levels appear very even. I read a lot in the dark, so I *have* noticed a SMALL bit of uneven distribution around the bottom/side edge - but honestly absolutely nothing to write home about. I'm super happy with my Nova Pro - both with the screen size, and many of the other options (seriously, taking notes on this thing is excellent). |
