calibre 4.2 *(Linux) Headings don't work

When I select a heading to be applied to a paragraph the heading appears right after the <body> tag at the top of the file. This happens no matter what:

Cursor is at the beginning of the paragraph
-- middle of the paragraph
-- end of the paragraph
Paragraph is highlighted
Paragraph is marked: Search > Mark

Paragraph selection works as expected. Click anywhere in para then select P on 'heading' menu; paragraph is bracketed in <p>..</p> tags.

Bold, Underline, etc. work as expected.

Restarted. Now it's working.
