Post Inkpad 3 for RSS reading

Hello forum,

I’m looking for an ebook reader for RSS reading and wondering if the Pocketbook RSS app is a viable alternative to Android apps, such as SpaRSS ?
  • For example, does it offer full-text download for offline reading, or will it only fetch titles and summaries?
  • How is the fetch speed and general experience with e-ink, and how’s system performance compared to, say, Android or IOS apps?
Many thanks for your input!
Tom

It only fetches what the feed offers. You are lucky if your favourite feeds offer full text. General browsing experience with most eink devices is dismal.

Android eink devices are a bit more tolerable for web browsing, but Pocketbook does not do those. Onyx and Boyue do.
