filtering words when downloading metadata comments

Hi All

I have just had my calibre library site suspended because 2 of the html files had the following words "Lolita" and "Ecstasy" within them.

Turns out these were in the comments scraped from amazon reviews - is there any way of automatically filtering words in the downloaded metadata

if not could i suggest a function where the user can add a word followed by a comma and the word to replace it. Or similar. or maybe add an "*" in the word?

There is no filter words function, but you can use the search and replace tab in the bulk metadata editor to replace words using patterns in all comments.

Thanks Kovid, That's what i did.I Just think it would be nice if there was a way of having an editable list of blacklisted words comma separated with their replacements that the meta could be processed against as it is scraped. But I understand the logistics of this would be a pain for you....
