Is the Kepler series deceased?
When I had to replace my Kepler Pro at the start of the year, I noted that, although the K Pro was listed along with the (non-Pro) Kepler on the Onyx Boox site, only the latter was widely available for sale. I ended up buying a Monte Cristo 4, being the most 'advanced' Kepler available at the time.
I now note that the O-B site has completely removed all mention of the Kepler series, leaving the 'customised' (for the Russian market) MC4 as the only extant model. I must admit, I'm sorry to see the Kepler series go. I prefer the flush bezel and page-turn buttons/sensors over the indented bezel and lack of page-turn buttons of the replacement Poke series. |
