Kobo Clara HD - Quick page turning
Dear All,

I apologise if I have made some mistake in posting.

I own a Kobo Clara HD, and with longer books I could use either a feature allowing me to go to a certain page or a "fast forward" feature.

Kobo Clara should have the latter, by pressing the bottom corner(s) of the e-book. However, this doesn't work for me.

The device has been recently updated, and otherwise works fine.

How can i fix that?

The quick page turn only works for kepubs. If you are reading sideloaded epubs, it won't work. If you want to use it for sideloaded books, you need to sideload them as kepubs. If you are a calibre user, you can use the KoboTouchExtended driver to send the books, or convert them to kepubs first. If you do not user calibre, you can use kepubify to convert them.

As in enter a page number? How do you do that?

You can't when reading. I think @Rarronno meant, "would like to have".

Of course, you can tap the slider to get to the approximate position and then fine tune it. Or use the ToC.

I could enter a page number on my Sony readers. I was surprised to find the Kobo didn't have this.

Yes, my Sony reader had that feature and it was very helpful (especially with longer books).
What's TOC?
