Use epub or mobi file as dictionary
Hi,

Is there a way to use a epub or a mobi file as a dictionary directly accessible by reading a book? if not can I convert it to do the trick?

No, only dictionaries converted to Kobo's dictionary format can be accessed as a dictionary.

It is possible, with enough time and effort, to manually convert the contents of a non-DRMed epub or mobi to Kobo dictionary format if you follow the detailed instructions available elsewhere in this forum (or maybe it's the Kobo Developer's forum).

Thank you very much Jackie_w for your answer, so I will try to find a good french dictionary, I think it will be easier than try to convert an ebook.
