fixing mising titles/addition titles

Not sure how it happened but about 100 books somehow got separated from the .opf files and have now been deemed "additional titles". I looked in the libary list (I can flat view the library in my file manager program) and noticed that I have all the .opf files in the original title and the book(s) and covers in another file.

Best solution to merge them together so that I don't have to delete them from the library?

Move the files out of the calibre library folder and add them back with auto-merge is the fastest. Adding them as formats to individual books is the most accurate.

Sorry for the late response, but thanks. I ended up using the previous versions for the library, but now I know what to do in case it happens again. The only question I have about this is when I add an .opf or cover file to a book in auto-merge, does it cause the book file to indicate that the .opf file is another book? Or will clicking it in the edit metadata field make it go back to being a file and not a book? ie. adding an .opf file to a folder with an .epub will show that book as being in the .opf and .epub formats.
