css background-color:

In the Calibre editor of the epub I added a page background color in the style.css file. Looks perfect in the editor viewer. When I convert to a mobi file the background color is gone and when I load the epub to a device the background color is gone.

Are there settings I need to change or is the css background-color: setting not supported?

Convert to azw3 not MOBI and many viewer dont suport background color -- check itin the calibre viewer.
