PW3 Glitches while doing some action on the screen

I have a PW 7th generation with FW 5.11.1.1. It was given to me by a friend who found the device very slow and buggy. Problem is that, the screen glitches every time I turn a page or, I do some action on the screen. That glitch last for 2-3 seconds and it's making the device slow. It's very irritating. Is there any way to remove these problems? Resetting and upgrading didn't work as well. Any help would be appreciated.

7th generation is not specific enough for use on this forum.

Find the first six characters of the serial number, "Device Info" panel under the "Settings" menu, and use this table:

to determine the model name we use for your device.
Post that information and update your CP info page with that information please.
