Anyone know what would happen if one set off a flare gun into the cargo bay of a 1938 Grumman Goose while in flight? Just doing some research.

I'm pretty sure that if you do that in exactly the right way and at exactly the right moment, the intense heat waves from the flare will constructively interfere with the pressure waves from the propellers in such a way that...

Well it really depends on which hemisphere you are located in. When you flush the water may swirl in the opposite direction.
