Ebookstore Question

This has probably been covered before, but I can't find it even when I try searching, so...

Is there a way to buy a gift certificate to the Sony Ebookstore? If yes, can someone who does not own a Reader purchase one?

If you have the ebook library software installed you will find a link at the top of the page called gifts. After you fill in all the information and click buy now it asks you for your user name and password. I am pretty sure you do not need to have a actual reader to get an account for the ebook library software, but I could be wrong.

You can purchase a Sony Gift Card. The gift cards can be used on the Sony ebookstore website. If you live in the U.S. these can be found at Target. Look at the Sony Reader display in the electronics department.
