How do I properly backup/restore notes?

I have a note which is backed up on Dropbox but I can’t figure out how to bring it back into the Notes app. Is it not possible?

This note I don’t care too much about if I can’t get it back but going forward I do want to make sure I do things properly. What is the correct / safest way to backup notes from the Notes app so that they can be restored back to the Notes app if I have to reset the Boox at somepoint?

I think the safest way to backup notes is to use the Backup and Restore as default by Boox. But I have not tried to reset the Boox and recover the notes before. Just FYI.
