Japanese Dictionary for Likebook Mars not really working

I added JMDict ja-en and JEDict ja-en from http://download.huzheng.org/ja/ to my ereader.
The problem is that it only seem to show the definition for a single character. If I somehow manage to select multiple characters (which is practically impossible to do) it will not show the definition for any.

Is there any way to make it recognize multiple characters?

For anyone who has this issue, I managed to fix it by installing an app called MoonReader and then through that app install GoldenDict. Then you just need to read the book through MoonReader instead of the system provided reader app.
