Seeking artist data -- Sydney Adamson death date

Another artist with no findable data.
I find on several auction sites a Sydney Adamson variously listed as "American", "British", or "born in Dundee"
"Flourished / active 1892-1914"
"Fine Arts" or "Book and Magazine Illustrator"

Too many dichotomies.
I haven't found any work dated later than 1908, which means exactly nothing.

Even WorldCat and Library of Congress have nothing useable.

Anybody?

According to this website, he died in 1958.

Now tell me how it happens that you were able to find that site, and I could not?
I must be blind, because when I use the same search terms I used yesterday, I do get a google hit for artbiogs on page 4, but I swear it was not there yesterday!
