3.39.1 Metadata not downloading, again

I've had this problem with every version of Calibre, and I'm tired of it. I can't download any metadata for my books.

I updated calibre
I turned off my firewall
I did the download metadata
I get "Failed to find file"

What the heck am I doing wrong? Calibre and all sub exe processes are running as Administrator, but it still can't get the metadata.

Runs for me W10Pro x64
Calibre 3.39.1

I have admin privileges, I DO NOT run as a administrator (UAC does ask me for installs)

As do I Mr theducks. However, everything I research out says "set to "run as administrator"" Given that I'm also in IT, following instructions is pretty important.

Okay, reinstalled. Tried again, no joy.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, no joy.

turned off all the shields of Avast. No joy

Turned "silent mode" off on Avast. Tried again. It asked me if I wanted to let this go through. Selected yes. Worked.

Turned everything on Avast back on. Tried with another book. Worked.

Avast is stupid.

Eeyup. Avast seems to be the leader in the "My AV doesn't let calibre work" category.

I agree, and the previous post tells me why, at least, Avast asks me (no silent mode).
