tutorial on torrents, trackers?

Currently, I am only using SoulSeek to look for ebooks. I have heard there are other even better sources, like Myanonymous.net. But I am not clear on how to set up an account. I have heard that one needs to have a "seedbox." I have no idea what that is. I would really like to join some of these other resources, but need some kind of tutorial.
