lost all my books library calibre

just updated to calibre 3.34 on my windows10 PC now no books showing in my library how to get them back please

In Your Documents folder there is a folder in which there is Your calibre library (I don't know the exact English name because in each country it is translated but it's easy to find). Then rerun the welcome wizard, from the icon with the key and the screwdriver, and give it the folder in which there are Your books.

One new member registered an account, went to the Introduce Yourself forum where he said thank you for developing calibre. Someone mentioned he should go say the same on the calibre forum and he never reappeared. Thankfully Kovid isn't here for self-gratification.

But who knows, maybe these people gave a donation, recommend the product to their friends or will help someone else down the line. I try not to judge as we all take advantage of things we don't think twice about.
