Book folders

I have many duplicate or triplicate folders for the same author.

Author_Abby
Author, Abby
and rarely Abby Author

Is there a way to fix this? I sometimes pull up lists of an author’s books using Applescript, and it is hard to get my script to work with multiple folders.

make sure all instances of the author name and sort values are the same in all books in calibre.

Get the Quality Check Plugin
It has a huge selection of 'checks' to help normalize your data (and a few tools to bulk fix selected records)

Kiwidude created a whole bunch of plugins that help YOU make YOUR Library better. (It still needs Human help to get it right)
