Sorting content server index?

Just starting to use Calibre Companion and I'm a little confused by the content server index screen. I assumed that Settings->Sorting->"Select sorts to show" would configure that screen, but it doesn't seem to. How can I configure the options shown on that screen, and also what is "Select sorts to show" *supposed* to configure if not that screen?

CC has no control over what is shown by calibre's content server. Instead you tell calibre what to show using calibre's content server preferences and some "tweaks". Ask in the calibre forum if you want help with this.

It configures what is shown in the sort menu on the main book list. It has no effect on the content server or cloud connection displays.
