Carolyn Wells (1862-1942) was an immensely prolific American author of more than 200 novels. She began writing childrens books in 1901, and in 1909 began writing detective novels as well. Her two main detectives were Fleming Stone (61 books) and Pennington Wise (8 books). They are mostly set in and around New York.

The 8 Pennington Wise books are:

2: The Man Who Fell Through the Earth (1919) *
3: In the Onyx Lobby (1920) *
4: The Come-Back (1921) *
5: The Luminous Face (1921) *
6: The Vanishing of Betty Varian (1922) *
7: The Affair at Flower Acres (1923)
8: Wheels Within Wheels (1923)

I am uploading those marked *. The other two are easily available as ebooks from Amazon, etc.

Any chance you could do the last 2 titles too, so that the MR Library could offer the complete series in one location?

They probably aren't up yet seeing as they were published in 1923. I agree it would be good to have a full set though.
