Onyx Boox Note with Wired Keyboard
I'm interested in purchasing the Boox Note Plus for reading and light word processing, and was wondering if I could connect a wired keyboard via a USB-C hub. Would I be able to run a pass-through to a power source (adapter) while using the keyboard? Would the on-screen keyboard still appear?
If anyone has tried a USB-C to USB-A hub, I'd be grateful for any insight. I'm thinking I might be better served with the Max2, but I prefer the smaller form factor. Thanks. |

As I am instead a party (or, if you wish, "in need") for heavy word processing, I wish to note that the possibility, in case, was halfway through there... I have downloaded updated software to test what's possible and will update information. |

If this is the same block that was imposed to USB-OnTheGo, it is limiting some activities, forcing people to circumvent it in impractical ways (special cables plus batteries etc.) or just downright making them postpone the idea of including the Onyx device in their processes.
For example, I am working on texts on my telephone (some of these texts are not sensitive and can also sit on an Internet exposed device) to be able to work anywhere-anytime, but I would swap them with the Max2 whenever I have more time to work on the latter. The remaining solution, without OTG, is basically Bluetooth, which is reported to work fine (see File Transfer, device to device), but becomes a forced way. |

I prefer wired keyboards as well, both for the benefit to battery life and to assuage my ridiculous anxiety about the constant bluetooth radiation. I find wired solutions to be usually more stable. l'll get the Max2 and use it as a second monitor with my Lenovo Yoga. Thanks for all your replies!!
