Custom Fonts

So a recent update provided the ability to load custom fonts onto a Oasis 2 and other devices I guess.

I remember at the time it created a fair amount of buzz and excitement which at the time and even now I do not understand.

So, is there a place to see and obtain other fonts that could be loaded?

I like DejaVu Serif E-Ink and Constantia because they're nice dark fonts. I downloaded them from somewhere on these forums. I'll have to see if I can find where. I also use them (mostly DejaVu Serif E-Book now) when I embed fonts into books via Calibre.

I got most of mine from fonts.google.com and <https://ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts>: the latter has no real preview mechanism but if you can figure out what the various fonts in there look like it has a lot of publication-quality OpenType and TrueType fonts -- the harder part is to find one that looks good on the low resolution of a Kindle screen ("low" by comparison with the 1200--9600 dpi of a phototypesetter), but these days a lot of modern fonts have been designed to look good on laser printers, which means around 300dpi, i.e. a Kindle screen
