Touch Accuracy
I recently purchased an Aura One and am fairly happy with it, with the exception of the touch calibration.
If it's off to the side, I'd have to tap slightly to the left or to the right, depending on which is closer to the center, to consistently hit a button. Is there anyway to fix this? Is there some sort of calibration function I don't know about? |

I don't have an answer for you...just wanted to note that the touch screen accuracy seems to be a fairly frequent complaint with the Aura One. On mine, I always have to tap slightly to the left of whatever I'm trying to choose. It's my only real complaint with my Aura One, and I've gotten used to it, so can pretty much choose what I want on the first try.

If you use the dictionary while reading, it's a problem. If you must simply read you'll get soon used to it.
(Anyway I serched well and I haven't found a solution for the touch problem of the KA1) |

That doesn't sound good. Maybe Kobo can add a calibration application for the KA1?

Recently performed a factory reset on my A1, in hopes of clearing up some problems. Took me several tries to reconnect to Wi-Fi because the touch keyboard is so inaccurate. Needless to say, a factory reset doesn't appear to clear up the touch issue.

Okay, so I updated, and lo and behold, the issue was fixed.
Unfortunately, I've already put it up for auction on eBay so I could replace it with an H2O. My impatience has bitten me in the ass yet again. |

If this is really fixed I will be very happy! I don't usually have wifi turned on so I haven't received the update yet. Can't wait to play with this tonight.
The inaccurate touch sensitivity was my major problem with the Kobo (combined with the small touch targets on screen) so this would help me out a lot. Currently, when I proofread I have to fall back to my old 6 inch readers because highlighting and typing notes is so painful on the Kobo (ie: impossible). |

The change is good enough that I can proofread by highlighting an approximate stretch of text and writing a short note. I still hate the way Kobo doesn't let you type ahead though. |

when I turn page, normally I will touch the right half of the screen. But when I try to touch the edge of right side, it does not response. The edge is about 5mm width. |
