Got KT with unknown set of modification, how to recover

Hi,
I got a Kindle Touch with unknown set of modifications. It runs 5.1.1 and Duokan in chinese with partical czech localization. What would you recommend, if I want to have clean system, jailbreak and SSH via WIFI?

Kubrick, factory restore and then upgrade to latest version? Or different version?

Kubrick's probably your best bet to get it back to stock state

. And yeah, you're safe w/ the latest version (5.3.7, IIRC) on a Touch.
