Missing Book Covers

OH NO! Somehow I managed to remove the covers of all books in my Calibre Library

. I subsequently tried running Quality Check to find books with missing covers - it returned "0". Is there a way to add the covers without running "Edit Metadata; Download Metadata and Covers; Download Covers only" and having to edit each book in my library? Help please

so Quality check says: 0 and if you use Grid view, all you see is generic covers?

OK, lets try and retrieve EMBEDDED covers.
select all: tap 'E" (AKA edit metadata, bulk mode)
(Near the bottom) Change cover: retrieve from book files

(this may be where you marked REMOVE

)

This will only get books with KNOWN (properly manifested) covers inside

theducks - thank you so much! That worked for most all of them! Don't know what I would have done except spend hours downloading each cover. You guys are awesome.

Did you ever figure out what you did (wrong)?
Posting that, may save others this kind of grief.
