Kindle Deleting Books/Won't Open any Books

Hi All

Struggling to find a solution for a strange issue. I have 2 Kindle Fire HD8 (6th Gen) on Friday both exhibited similar issues.

On 1 no book would open, this was for sideloaded and amazon content the screen would either show the cover or a blank screen then go back to the homescreen. I forced stopped Amazon Kindle in settings and cleared the cache and data, this allowed it to open books but the issue plaguing the second Kindle suddenly affected this Kindle as well.

The second Kindle would allow you to read a few pages/chapters of a book then half the page would load and checking the folder the book would be deleted so I would download it again from my backups, start reading and again the same issue would happen.

I can't see anything in the settings or config that explain this and neither have had a recent update that I know of before I give in and wipe the devices and spend hours setting them up again I wondered if anyone had any ideas?

Thanks
