How to css change background color of an epub?

Hi,

In the stylesheet.css, I put

html, body{ background-color: rgb(230, 230, 230); }

But the surrounding has still some white color, how to change it?

You cannot. The surroundings are page amrgins and they are not under the control of the epub. SOme epub renderers will render them the same color as the current html background color, some will render them using a fixed color, etc.
