Multiple libraries in Calibre

I have searched but cannot find anything relative to my query.
I have Calibre looking after 11 libraries which is great.
The query I have: When I start up Calibre and go to transfer/delete a book to another library often it comes up that the library is not open. Means going to Library > Quick Switch and go to that library. Then I have to return back to my main library to then transfer the book.

Is it possible to have all libraries available for transfer?

Only the current library can be the source of the transfer (copy to library).

You could start calibre with the library you want to transfer from using the --with-library option, see User Manual: calibre command

Added : I use the --with-library option to force calibre to start in my Intake library. Never been a fan of the 'start where I was last time' model, prefer to start in a predictable state - Intake is normally empty.

I think the OP is probably referring to the list of libraries that show up in the switch/create library menu. I believe that there is a limit on the number that show and when that limit is exceeded only the most recently used ones are shown. With 11 libraries that limit is probably being exceeded. I am not sure what the maximum number of entries allowed for actually is? As far as I know the limit is hard-coded and not adjustable by the end-user but I could be wrong about that.

No, there is no limit in that list. At this moment, there are 32 libraries which appear if I want to copy/move a book. The limit is in the libraries showed in Quick switch 5), but you can select the other ones with an additional step.
