empty maps

My Calibre library is not clean anymore.
In some maps are the files metadata & cover. But het epub is gone

How must i clean my library to delete al the 'empty' maps
Is there an easy way ?

First: What are you doing to lose books? Never use the OS file manager on the folders or files INSIDE the Library.

formats:false
will find empty books (that calibre knows about). If you used the OS to delete or rename, calibre has no clue that you did something.

First:
Run Library Maintenance (right click the Library Icon) and resolve the errors. That should bring Calibre back into sync with (the contents) reality
