Search not working since update.

For some reason after updating to version 3 of calibre the search function no longer works correctly. At best it will only point me to the first book containing the term I am looking for. I hate this, I want it to show me ALL of the books that contain the search term. I've tried every thing to stop this annoyance, but nothing has worked. I want to roll back to a version 2. Anyone else?

EDIT: I reverted back to an earlier version and the search function is now working properly. Mods delete this thread if needed. Thanks.

I wonder if this is a case of the issue described in this sticky about search results only being highlighted?

As I said, i rolled back to 2.85. It it not helpful to only find the the first instance of a book with a word "tudor" in the title when you have 45 such titles in the program.

It's just a simple setting. itimpi already posted the link to instructions on how to change search options in the previous post.

somehow, during the update, your preferences got glitched. it happens, although verrrrry rarely.

Just follow the instructions.
