Overdrive Advanced Search
When looking for books in my libraries, I always use the Overdrive Advanced Search. And on the first search in a library I always set EPUB eBook as the Format and English as the Language. I do this every time I first search in a library.

Is there some way to set these as default search conditions for my account? Or perhaps Overdrive could remember the last settings used by account.

I believe you could bookmark the page (after you push the search button). I'm not at a computer right now so I can't try it.

I just tried it from a tablet, and the bookmark worked. I use Firefox on the PC and tablet.

Yes that bookmark can be reused but only to perform the same search again. I can modify the bookmark and replace the existing title (or author) with a new one and that works but I would rather just search from the Overdrive advanced search page with the format and language automatically set.

Yes, if you are looking for a particular title, I can see how it wouldn't work.
I use the URL method to see everything that was newly added.

I realize that this is a work around to what you actually want. I do wish that we could set search defaults also.

My other work around would be to hold the "ctrl" or "shift" key to open a new tab, if you plan on doing a lot of searches in the same session.

The calibre Overdrive plug-in allows limiting to ePUB, although I'm not aware of a language filter. Do you know what I am referring to? If not, there is a thread here on it:

One big advantage is that you can search Axis 360 and (if of any value to you) hoopla at the same time as Overdrive -- and I notice that Houston Public Library has all three.

Thanks Steve -- I wasn't aware of that plugin but it doesn't help me much since I don't use Calibre for a wish list.

However I do use the Chrome Library Extension which is pretty nice. If you are looking at a book in Amazon or Goodreads it will open a window that displays if that title is available in any of the libraries you have specified in the Extension Options and whether it is checked out or not.
