A Street Cat Named Bob. Is Bob okay at the end?

Has anyone read "A Street Cat Named Bob"? If so, is the cat still alive at the end of the book? I've read books about animals before and they often die at the end of the book. I hate this.

So before I purchase this, which is quite reasonably priced on Amazon UK in Kindle form, could someone please reassure me, or not.

Thanks.
