Problems with EREADER.STORE

Hello, has anyone had any problems with buying from EREADER.STORE in Germany? I paid over £700 for the new Max2Pro and was told it was shipped on the 19th January with expected delivery of the 23rd January. I have still not received it and had no answer to my emails, also the UPS tracking number I was sent has had no updates on UPS website, it just shows as being at the first stage, which is them being notified of a shipment and nothing since. I'm getting worried, as I didn't pay by PayPal and used my debit card and I don't know how I'm going to get my money back if this is either a bogus company or they say I have received it?? (I'm presuming they would have to show me tracking info). I have my own company in Warrington, UK and there is someone in the building all the time Monday to Friday and there has been nothing, I have even checked our CCTV. Like I say, the UPS tracking number shows nothing. Hoping someone can help. Very Anxious

The company is ok, most of us have bought tons of material from Booxtor (myself, 4 in four years), he is very real.
He sometimes cannot keep up with the Inbox, that's also I believe a safe statement.

Hi there,

I have the same issue. It shipped 17th of January but the tracking didn't moved for a week and a half (based in UK). It is updating now, though, they'll deliver it tomorrow.

Booxtor said that they buy UPS labels in bulk hence the early "shipped" information however they pass it to the courier in smaller batches (depending on when you ordered, there is a queue) so the actual dispatched does not happens for couple more days.

Don't worry, it will arrive.

I got my Max from the ereader.store last year. Have only ever found Booxtor helpful. Because of that, I have already placed a pre-order for the Note.

Given the attention that the new Onyx products are currently receiving, I imagine that Booxtor must be fairly busy. There will inevitably be some delays, but, if experience is anything to go by, your device will come through.

I also ordered my onyx max carta from this seller last year (it was ereader-store.de at this time). I had no issue, the shop is OK.
And I just pre-ordered their 10.3 boox notes this week... I hope there won't be too much delay!

Weirdly, I had an update from UPS last night to say it's 'in transit' and is being delivered tomorrow. Phew.

Also just had an email from the lovely Waldemar to say it is en route for tomorrow. He's been really busy and obviously is working on his own or with few staff and also doing lots of testing. V excited - thank you all

Didn't want to open up a new thread, so I'll just ask here; I've noticed the above mentioned price of £700, which seems a bit above the price on the store, and wanted to know why that is.
I am planing to buy/per-order the upcoming Note and was under the impression that within the EU there shouldn't be any more additional charges (VAT, customs or something similar). I've never really bought something that expensive online, so I have no experience. Should I expect some (considerable) additional charges when ordering from the ereader.store?

From what I saw, the max2 pro is at €798.89, which is £700... it does look correct.
Within EU, the price to consider is the price with the taxes, i.e. the more expensive from the two.
I live in France, I ordered the note boox last week, and I payed €549.78 for it.

The one is with VAT (taxes), the other is without. For the one without you have obviously have to pay taxes while importing it.
