Unhappy Why No (Android 6.0) Upgrade For Max,N96 serials
Dear Friends

After Onyx Boox launch the new devices (Max 2 & Note) with new Andorid 6.0 OS. Why there was no Update or Upgrade for Our devices firmware?

Also, I'm really wondering, How come there is no Forum website dedicate to those whom want to discuses Onyx hardware, apps, features or errors with the company it self?

Onyx is already trying hard to officially release Android 4.4 for Max1 and N96 since 2015. Still in BETA.
Wouldn't it be easier to go open source and not to fool people?

Only if you can license the software that way. Perhaps some of it is closed source and Onyx don't own the license to it.

I have other theory: they are stealing some software and don't want we knew. As a bit of this, where are the modifications to the Open Source modifications for, for example, FBReader? And OReader?

AFAIK, last time I checked this, their own stuff is done with QT... ¿Open Source version? Where are the object modules...? And so and so and so...

Good e-Reader 13.3 and 6.8 Receives Android 4.4 Firmware Update today.
Onyx still on 4.0.4 or Beta/pre-release 4.4 version.
