Kindle Questions: Organizing My Books (Collections)

Currently, I use the desktop version of Kindle on my laptop. My books are organized into "collections" by general subject areas, e.g. History, Biography, Politics, etc. Question 1: Is there any way to change the order of these collections?
I'm considering buying a Kindle Paperwhite, but it would be a significant drawback for me if I can't change the order in which my collections are listed in the sidebar. I can do this easily in iBooks, which is the other ebook app I use on my laptop. However, I want to switch over to a dedicated device for reading ebooks. Question 2: Is the inability to change the order of collections is limited to the desktop version of Kindle, or is this feature also present in the Paperwhite's software?

Would just renaming the collections starting with numbers put them in the order desired?
