Manage series numbering.

After collecting a lot of pdf files i decided to organize them but part of the files (U.S. Army Field & Technical Manuals) have a special numbering like this:
  • FM 1-10
  • FM 1-195
  • FM 4-119
  • FM 101-15
  • TM-E 31-480
  • TM 3-376A
  • TM 9-421
  • TM 9-1901
Initially i number them 1.10, 101.15 but the problem is that caliber don't let me use more than two digits after the period also some of them have two subdivisions like FMI 4-93.41.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Create a text column and use that, since these are not really numbers. Preferences->Add your own columns Or use two columns, volume and subdivisiion
