Emily Jane Brontë (30. Juli 1818 in Thornton, Yorkshire — 19. Dezember 1848 in Haworth, Yorkshire) war eine britische Schriftstellerin, die durch ihren einzigen Roman Wuthering Heights (deutsch: Sturmhöhe) bekannt wurde. Emily Brontë veröffentlichte ausschließlich unter dem Pseudonym Ellis Bell. (nach Wikipedia)
