Is it possible to root the ONYX BOOX Kepler Pro?
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to root the ONYX BOOX Kepler Pro in a simple way (without touching the hardware). It's possible? How is it done? Does anyone have an ONYX BOOX Kepler Pro? How was your experience? |

When I had a problem with my screen due to a bad firmware upgrade, one of the things that O-B suggested was rooting it, and they provided a link & instructions. I wasn't able to do this myself (as the screen was completely illegible). Unfortunately the link no longer works.
Details here As a side note, we really do need a stickied archive of this sort of information. Digging through old threads to find it (even if you know which thread and approximately when) is a pain in the arse. |

I just tried it and succeed using KingoRoot and Intel Android Device USB driver (in order to connect Kepler Pro with enabled USB debugging to a Win10 machine) |

Why don't you just use KingoRoot? IT is the easiest way.
If connection of Kepler Pro with enabled USB debugging mode to the PC fails, just replace driver of android device to android composite device using Intel Android Device USB driver (would not work on AMD machine though and you would need to try other USB driver) I just can confirm that rooting works. |
